The Incomparable Marching Tiger Band of Douglas County High School is the largest performing Ensemble at Douglas County High School and the largest marching band in the Douglas County School District.

The ensemble is the premier representative of the fine arts at the high school. As such, they provide the foundation of excellence and the funding to support the music programs at Douglas County High School. The music program at DCHS serves students in grades 9-12 and it supports and mentors the feeder band programs at three middle schools in the school system. The Marching Band prepares a Fall Production for competitions and performs at halftime and in the stands at football games; competing in three Marching Band competitions throughout the Fall season and performing at local parades and representing the fine arts programs in the county at community events.

The band program's largest fundraiser is The annual Gathering Marching Band Competition which attracts high school marching bands from across the southeast region and more than 2000 spectators to Douglasville for the event. The Tiger Band has a storied tradition of excellence in competition and continues in that excellence by committing fully to the ensemble, it's students and the community which it serves.
